Conference Photography in The Marker Hotel

It was a very interesting assignment to photograph the ECHAMP Conference at The Marker Hotel events and conference facilities. Located at the Grand Canal Square in Dublin Port.

ECHAMP represents a European Coalition on Homeopathic & Anthroposophic Medicinal Products.  In this endeavor, this organisation is working hard to develop new products in the field.

They are also trying to guarantee its availability on the market. They intend to make people aware of the role of Homeopathy as an alternative system of medicine in the world.

Homeopathic and Anthroposophic products’ effectiveness has been under dispute for decades. However, studies show that 3 out of 4 people in Europe know this alternative medicine.

Furthermore, about 29% of them use it for their health care. It is thus ECHAMP’s main challenge to increase these numbers and continuously develop new options to reinforce this system of medicine.

ECHAMP Conference’s Main Objectives

This conference at The Market Hotel allowed scientists to discuss new findings in the field. To share ideas about how to deal with the issues their facing in the continent.

They aim at this type of alternative medicine is to be accessible for people in every sense. Thus,  they worked both in the distribution and in the technological possibilities at the same time.

I pursued on capturing the nature of this ECHAMP’s Conference in my pictures. I must point out the Market Hotel venues were a perfect fit for the event.

Besides offering beautiful spaces, their venue has perfect natural and artificial lighting. This thus helped me find different angles to make the pictures tell a story.

I was glad to have the opportunity to be part of this conference at the Marker Hotel because it allowed me to do what I most enjoy. At the same time to take a look inside this alternative to the traditional medicine system.
